I love the rain when there’s no work to do or activities to be a part of. The attached image is a perfect example of why you should love the rain and all that stuff that goes with it. Because as they say, “No Rain, No Rainbows”. Tonight just before the sun set there was a small break in the clouds and this is what you get.

Today was my usual day to do the yard work. However, there are some really brilliant blossoms that stand out so much I decided to take you on a little tour of our garden today. I hope you like these.

San Diego; Saturday, February 26th: It was cold and it rained most of the day and into the night.

San Diego; Sunday, February 27th: Morning broke with clear skies and record low temperatures for our corner of the world. The treat/trade off? Snowcapped mountains!

Stay tuned for the slide show of images captured during my excursion to see this rare phenomenon.

It’s been a few days into the new year and I’m really looking forward to the new and wonderful things it will bring. This sunset was like that. One of the wonderful things I get to share in the new year. I hope your new year will be just as spectacular!

When is a leaf like a sunset?

Every fall the leaves turn from green to warm hues as they make their way toward the ground. In this process, they become like a wildly random colored sunset caught in broad daylight. Just the right excuse for me to capture a few images and apply my own touches. Look for the image with the \\ marks for a very colorful variation.
