About Don

Hi, I’m Don. I’ve studied everything I can about photography for over 25 years and have loved living and working here in San Diego since 1980. Customers have been appreciating my work since 1994. My specialty is documenting you and your events with still images. By working closely with you, I’ll create fun casually posed images and capture action as it happens at your event. Afterward I put your images together into a memorable story. That story can then be bound into a fabulous, long lasting, volume for you to share with family and friends for generations.

Photography awards are fun, being published in national magazines is great too. However, what I feel is more important than awards or prizes is my customer’s appreciation for what I am able to do for you. When you join the ever growing PBDC Family, the style and mood of your images starts and ends with you. I bring all my experience and imagination to bear at your event or photo session to capture exactly what you’ve dreamed, planned and prepared so hard for. I’m there to preserve the excitement, joy, emotion, and warmth that is truly yours.

What’s my style? I provide you a seamless blend of documentary (or photo-journalistic) imagery and traditional casually posed photography. I offer both studio and candid photography so I can deliver whatever you need. This level of flexibility assures that you’ll see exactly what you like in your pictures. For example, if you favor traditional posed work with studio style backgrounds and special lighting, shouldn’t you have it? Or, maybe you’ve decided that formal photos aren’t really your thing. I’ll concentrate on you and your activities. Let the day unfold around you. Can you imagine how much fun that will be?
