It’s that time again and I’ve been out in the yard getting dirty. It’s not all work though. There’s always a little time to share a flower or two. A friend gave me some Ephiphyllum clippings and the first one bloomed today. It’s brilliant. There should be more opening soon. Perhaps different colors too.

Oh, the roses are doing great too. Here’s one just after the recent rains.

Saturday I attended the Good Guys car show in Del Mar. It was really great seeing all the hot rods, talking to the owners and experiencing the general gathering of car culture.

The images here are just a few of the cars that caught my eye. I hope you enjoy them as I did.

I love the rain when there’s no work to do or activities to be a part of. The attached image is a perfect example of why you should love the rain and all that stuff that goes with it. Because as they say, “No Rain, No Rainbows”. Tonight just before the sun set there was a small break in the clouds and this is what you get.

It’s that time of year that Rhonda gets going on all her Halloween and fall craft stuff. This week she gave me several of her new items to photograph for her records. I thought it would be good to share some of them with you. Especially the hollow pumpkin. All paper.
